Emily and Ashley -Southwood Hall, Norfolk

Emily and Ashley had originally planned to get married at Southwood Hall in April 2020, they had no choice but to move the date due to restrictions and rescheduled for October of the same year. I think we all thought the same and had no idea it would be so ongoing.

Big changes had to be made but they were determined that they would get married this time and would book a big party for 2021 – I am looking forward to capturing this for them! How amazing it will be!

The weather was definetely on our side – there were showers throughout the day but they all arrived and went with impeccable timing! The behind the scenes shots are often amongst my favourite and Emilys preparations in the gorgeous Cartshed lodge were especially pretty. Two little adorable girlies were a highlight of the show.

The ceremony was held in the stunning barn. It was short but sweet and we then led out to the extraordinary October sunshine! A first for us to capture a first dance in the afternoon – but hey it’s all been different this year and we’re moving with the times.

I hope this post gives inspiration for future weddings…. Your day may or may not allow for all of your initial expectations but hopefully like any that I have recently attended – actually in the end exceed them.

After all – despite everything they became Mr and Mrs and the same love was flowing throughout. Heres to you Mr and Mrs Lamb – You did it! xx
