Kimberly and Sam – The Norfolk Mead Hotel.

I was so pleased to be asked to capture this wedding! Kim and I went to school together so it was all the more special to be a part of.

I knew Kimberly would look lovely, but she exceed all expectations and looked absolutely stunning in her unique dress. I’m pretty sure Sam thought so too.

The Norfolk Mead Hotel looked beautiful as always and had an extra sparkle in the the sunshine that we were treated too.

The morning was very calm on the brides side (with a few last minute rushes – as to be expected!) and on the grooms side too – with some shots being ‘enjoyed’ at the bar.

It was a pretty big moment when Kimberly and her bridesmaids took the walk through the gardens to meet Sam – and the emotional build up and beauty of that caught many by surprise, including myself! and there were lots of tears all around!

The ceremony was bursting with love and giggles – which carried on throughout the whole day.

Everybody enjoyed some time in the sunshine, nibbling canapés and sipping bubbles, whilst we too lots of photos.

It was then inside for the meal and speeches – again very emotional (and again, catching me out!!) lots of laughter and lots of tears. I thought Sams speech to Kimberly was amazing, and also Kimberlys to Sam – a lovely surprise to everybody!

We were able to make full use of The Meads beautiful grounds, for some quiet moments between Kimberly and Sam

Kimberly and Sam are absolutely bursting with happiness and love and the whole day reflected this….here are some moments from their day – I hope you enjoy xx

Congratulation Kimberly and Sam, I’m so happy for you both xx

Megan and Mark, The Assembly House, Norwich, Norfolk

This is hands down the winner for the most fun had!

The ceremony and reception were held at the stunning Assembly House, in Norwich city centre. The team here are absolute masters at hosting, and the service received is always nothing short of excellent.

Pops of colour have just recently been added to the decor throughout lots of the rooms and it looks amazing. This was a perfect match to the colourful flower arrangements, and Megans most beautiful floral crown.

I’m not really sure where to start with the write up of this wedding!?!? (the same way I felt choosing the images for this blog!) So in short and I will just have to let you see I think…..

Handcuffs, Downpours, Emotional speeches, hidden scratch card surprises, the most amazing little escort to the bride, the sweetest of (never ending!) smiles, Ice cream, Norwich City, Harry Potter, Swinging, Red bottoms, Piggybacks, Umbrellas…..(and both at the same time!) a doughnut wall……

Here is a snippet of Megan and Marks day. I hope it will give you a little insight to the fantastic day it was,

Thank you Megan and Mark for allowing us to capture your day, for chancing the showers, and for being simply awesome!!

Welcome Freya

One of my mummy friends from our village playgroup has a tiny new arrival….Welcome baby Freya xx

They now have two beautiful girlies, and I went over to capture some images of this special time for them. As you can see Isabelle is loving her new little sister and showering her with kisses.

Huge Congratulations to you all, a lovely family xx

Jayne and Keith: Glen Lodge, Bawburgh, Norwich

Glen Lodge, at Bawburgh Golf Club have just recently had a stunning new wedding venue added to their grounds, and a few weeks ago we had the privilege to shoot our first wedding there since the work had been completed.

Jayne and Keith choose to marry outdoors, and as you can see, the setting and views all around are fantastic.

It was a short, very sweet ceremony with smiles all around. Jayne was giggling with happiness and it was such a lovely service to watch.

Afterwards everybody enjoyed being outside in the sunshine, the children happy with lots of space to run around in.

Jayne and Keith then enjoyed a fun ride down, escorted on buggies, to the 18th hole for some photos together.

Jayne and Keith are one of the most relaxed, happy couples I have met, and they thoroughly enjoyed a very chilled out day, and I am sure a good party later on! I think this really shows in their photographs, and their day really was a pleasure to capture.

Congratulations to you both, Jayne and Keith, I hope you enjoy looking at your photographs and they bring back lots of happy memories of your wonderful day for you xx

The Scott Family, Earlham Park, Norwich

An hour or so of running, climbing and being wild in this great space provided for some lovely photos of two little ones who were really not feeling the more posed shots at all.

They were definitely inspired by the mystic feel of the huge rockery in the woods tucked away at Earlham Park – Sticks turned into wands, and unicorn horns and branches were broomsticks. I must say it is a very magical place to be and for photo shoots,

We were very lucky to have some absolutely amazing weather and light for the shoot, and I have my fingers firmly crossed for much more of it.

Thank you for a fun shoot with lots of character to capture Scott Family.

Enjoy xx
